PLUS - Personalized Learning Squared is a math tutoring initiative led by CMU. Our vision is to eliminate the learning gap for K-12 students.
This brand guideline outlines PLUS’s visual identity. It goes over PLUS’s tone, logo, typography, color scheme, illustration, application, and photography in order to help you create consistent designs for PLUS’s app, website, and marketing materials. Please adhere closely to this guideline to ensure that our visual communications are unified.
Also keep in mind that this document is, ultimately, a guide. Use the brand guideline as a starting point along with your best judgment.
This document will be a useful resource to anyone designing PLUS branding materials in the app, on the web, or for marketing purposes.
Our logo represents PLUS to the world. It’s often people’s entry point into our brand system, so it should be used with care. This section lays out some guidelines for how to use the logo effectively, ensuring that PLUS’S outward-facing identity is cohesive and strong.
The PLUS logo can be displayed in two forms:
In instances where space is limited (e.g., email signatures), it’s appropriate to use the solo symbol by itself, but please don’t use the wordmark by itself; it should only be used as part of the complete lockup.
The logo has three sizes to choose from: small, medium, and large. The small logo is best for the app, while medium and large logos can be used in website and marketing materials.
Proper use of the logo strengthens PLUS’s brand and builds equity in our audience. Please adhere to these guidelines when designing anything that carries PLUS’s brand.
