Developed a Tool to Email the Tutors

Developed a new tool to replace the Google Group email workflow, allowing PLUS admins to easily send emails directly to tutors which don’t end up in spam.

Updated Email Footer Design

Implemented a new email footer design that includes social media links and branding for Stanford and Carnegie Learning. This enhanced the professional appearance and branding of emails sent through the app.

Additional Lessons Equipped with LLM Feedback

LLM feedback has been added to 4 more lessons and now all the lessons are ready with AI feedback.

PLUS 5.1: Strategy Navigation and Student Page Enhancements

FEATURES

Updates to the Your Students page

Added breadcrumbs and back/forth buttons to the sidebar and topbar navigation to improve user navigation throughout the app.

Specific fixes include:

• Correct breadcrumb on PLUS Schedule page.
• Consistent behavior for breadcrumbs on strategy and tutoring aids pages.
• Proper breadcrumbs for navigation from student and resource pages.
• Appropriate breadcrumbs for pages accessed from the Toolkit Admin page.

Implemented necessary backend changes to support new design for the students page. This update allows for more accurate and efficient data retrieval for tutors.

Filtering by session is now supported

Added a dropdown to filter visible students based on selected class sessions. This change will enable tutors to view data for specific students assigned to them.

Student Profile: Support Tags

Implemented support for displaying tags in the student profile.

Log Tutor Home Page Actions

Added logging for actions on the PLUS Tutoring home page, including:

• Join Session
• Sign-up Now
• Submit Your Reflection
• Open Schedule

Tutor Attendance Tracking Automation

Automated parts of the tutor attendance tracking process to reduce the manual workload for the tutoring team.

Implementation:

• Set up a Google form for lead tutors to report missing tutors.
• Developed a script to process these reports and format a weekly email for the tutor team.
• Explored the use of Zoom usage reports to automate attendance tracking further.

Updated Logic of Tutor Status in App

Updated the backend to distinguish between cleared, inactive, and prospective tutors, and added a new lead status.

Buttons Styling in Safari

The buttons now display correctly across all versions of Safari, including Safari 15 on desktop and older versions on iPad.

Logout Modal Appearance on Page Not Found

The logout modal now appears as intended across all devices and scenarios.

Lesson Cards Alignment On iPad

Lesson cards now align and display correctly on iPad in both the Lessons Page and the Training Admin view.

Strategy Page UI Update

Made several user interface improvements to the Strategy page, including:

1. Added tooltips to buttons and icons.
2. Restricted the Edit strategy button to users with appropriate permissions.
3. Ensured consistent behavior when editing and creating strategies.
4. Improved the display of strategy descriptions.
5. Adjusted the Assign Tutor functionality to prevent immediate actions without confirmation.
6. Updated the Submit button behavior on the Edit Strategy page.

Strategies Page Display Update

The Strategies page now exclusively displays resources, ensuring that only relevant strategies are shown. This change provides users with a more focused and relevant list of strategies, enhancing usability and reducing clutter.
